MARRIAGE AND WEDDING RECEPTION

Wedding Ceremonies, formal or informal are performed by the Tour operaters such as First Choice, Thomas Cook at the Hotel you are staying. This needs to be pre-booked with them directly. Hotels do not have such service.

After the wedding ceremony you may like to have a wedding reception, this where this page may come handy if you are looking for something different for you and your guest who will be sharing your hapiness on your special day.

Why not have your after wedding reception-party on a fully decorated double decker Boat ? BBQ, Starters, Afters, Music, Plenty drinks..
Butler service under the moonlight and stars.
We decorate the vehicles.
We will come to pick you all up from your Hotel.
We will take you to Gocek, which is 30 minutes away from your Hotel.
We get to the double decker boat (Boat will be decorated)
Downstairs are the tables and bar and toilets, upstairs ideal for dancing or watching the stars on the sky.
Meal includes BBQ Chicken or Fresh Fish, Salad, Starters, Pasta, Fruit
Complimentary Champagne will be served to Bride and Bridegroom.
Drinks are extra to remaining guests.
After the meal cruise we will dock back on the harbour.
If you wish you can visit a nice bar in Gocek or we take you back
Little bit fire crackers will be also added.
Approx Price is £65 per person for 2012 / Must be booked in advance .

Photos : Apparantly First Choice makes a deal with the Photographers based within the Holiday Village and makes a good cut out of it Find out the exact price before you go over, how many pics and so on. Alternatifly, one of your friends can take plenty pictures for you.

Documents necessary to be married in Turkey :

1.Marriage petition (Evlenme Beyannamesi)

2.Certificate of Capacity to Marry (Evlenme Ehliyet Belgesi): either a marriage license from your own country, or a statement from your country's consulate or embassy in Turkey

3.Personal identification (passport, identification card, birth certificate or health certificate)

4.Photographs of the bride and groom (four copies of each) for the official records.

Additional Requirements

Capacity to marry: The minimum age for marriage is 18 years . Only those persons who have sufficient mental capacity to make fair judgments are allowed to marry. Mental illness is a bar to marriage.

Absence of consanguinity: Marriage between close relatives is prohibited.

Already existing marriage: Any previous marriage must have been dissolved before you can marry in Turkey Polygamy and polyandry are illegal.

Waiting period: A divorced woman must wait 300 days following the date of her divorce to marry again. A Turkish divorce decree may also require a waiting period for a divorced man.

Sickness: Certain illnesses, such as epilepsy, constitute a bar to marriage.

You need to do, before you come to Turkey
A birth certificate
A valid passport
Certificate of Capacity to Marry
7 Passport Pictures

You need to take these to Turkish embassy in UK and let translated before you come over to Turkey .

You need to bring the originals alongside with the translations to Turkey, remember to keep a copy in the UK .

If you do not do so , then you will be needing to travel to izmir (4hours) in order to visit British embassy which you will not be happy with.

Once you are in Turkey , you will be visiting the official who performs and registers civil marriages who will give you a paper , with this you will go to hospital for blood test, then you go back to the official who performs civil marriages in order to book the time/date and the place where your marriage take place ..rest is easy I strongly recommend that you take two sets of photocopies of all documents, one to be left at home, and the other to be submitted to your wedding planner.

More information :You can get married anywhere you like in Turkey !As long as you pay the Clerk,on the beach ,peak of the mountain, in your Hotel Room ect. Cost is Low ,if you wish to get married in a Marriage registraton office £150 (all paper work etc. included)

Hairdresser Prices are :

For the Bride Hair and manikure pedikure make-up ect,
starts from 70 pounds and can go up to 250 pounds.
For the guests of bride and bridegroom ;
Make-up 10 pounds ,manikure-pedikure 15 pounds etc.
Above Hairdresser prices are guide price only and hairdressers at the Hote can be exceptionally expensive.
