There are so many nice little Villages to visit around Sarigerme ,
if you get bored with sitting all day around the Pool or getting red on the Beach?
then I can suggest you do take a short ,informative, different kind a trip where you can have a really quality Time..

So,what is this Trip i am talking about ?

Village Trip of course ..You can hire a Van-Car-Motorbike and drive your self.
You can exprience the beauty of the country side ,wild life , Rock or King Tombs , unspoild culture and more ...

Every Time when I go to Sarigerme , the time is allways short for me, does'nt matter how long I do stay ,simply because I stay away from the usual boring touristic stuff , and hit the real local life ...

Last time in August 2009 , I went abit further out of Sarigerme to Gokbel direction ,to the hidden mounten Villages , all what you can say is "My God " ,
it is absolutely Gorgeous ,peacefull ,Green , and the People are so friendly ..
We took Water, Cheese, Bread, Tomato, Cucumber ,Water Melon with us ,and we stoped next to fresh water well in the middle of the Forest high in the mounten and enjoyed our fresh meal while watching the Wild Life which surrounded us with pure beauty...On the way you come across family run small huts where they prepare freshly made turkish pastry which called gozleme, you can have it with banana ,chocolate , cheese ,lemon and sugar etc.

Where can you start ?
There are many little villages nearby sarigerme towards to Dalyan and Ortaca aswell as Dalaman ..hit the road towards Ortaca and when you see the signpost on the road Dalaman-Fethiye, there where you turn to your right just opposite to the post sign ,this little road will take you trough Mergenli Village towards to Dalyan , well i lieve the rest to you..

Please be extra carefull whilest driving as they are many hidden curves and one can not say that Turks are the greatest experts when it comes to driving.
