RIPP-OFF OR WHAT ?

Lets have a look at Excursions of Tour Operaters such as First Choice and similar. Some Tour Operaters such as First Choice, Excursions are based on visiting Shopping Centres, which more or less every Trip includes Carpet and/or Jewellery Centre visits so they can charge after your shopping in these places up to 30% commission behind your back.

You will be spending, if not by force, more then an Hour in these carpet-jewellery places rather then being out and doing some sight-seeing. Once you are there under whatever reason, you will be offered drinks, soon you will be approached by professional sales staff who will convince you to spend your money, say you agreed to purchase that carpet or jewellery you allways wanted.

When you swipe your credit card, you can be sure that up to 30 percent of the money you have spend will be shared between the guide, travel agency, person who booked your ticket and including the driver with a smallest percentage.

You wanted to take your family, friends or your other half for a nice day out, to see some places not for a suprize shopping. What would you call this, ripp-off ?

Cheap and Dirty Tricks of some Tour Operater Reps :

During the Welcome Cocktail meetings or one to one chats they will tell you all sort of nasty stuff about the local agencys just to book you.

Reps will tell you that Local Agencies do not have relevant insurance and they do not turn up to pick up clients etc.

This is a BIG LIE .don't fall in this trap.

Those that are staying at the Hilton are in an even worse situation when it comes to booking excursions via the Hotel as these customers will be passed on to a local agency but will be charged if not double by the hotel staff for a quick buck. To avoid this simply do not book it via the Hotel Staff. Be warned.

SUITABLE TRIPS FOR CHILDREN

In my oppinion there are few trips where the little ones can enjoy.

Half day Turtle Beach Trip, this trip is ideal for any age. Kids Love this trip because it is short ride away and it is a proper proper beach . There is even a Turtle Hospital where ingured turtles get treated which anyone can visit . Cafee and snack bar , Toilets , Changing Cabinets etc. all available..

12 ISLAND Boat trip is a must IF YOUR KID ENJOYS SWIMMING . All day long in crystal clear waters swimming, BBQ , ..big boats, plenty space for kids

Full day DALYAN Trip( mudbaths - turtle beach etc. etc.) , this trip is ideal for any age. Constant changing scenery keeps everyone occupied , different stuff to do such as getting into the mud , seeing the little turtles , birds , stopping at the beach also guides are trying to show you even big turtles (depending on the boat traffic) and some live crabs ...Kids can steer the Boat where possible.Boats are shady and specious , plenty breaks in between..

Or you can have this trip as half day without the mudbath with earlier start and head to see the giant Caretta Caretta Turtles.This is the trip where the kids go mad as soon as they see the giant turtles in the water where they may also get the chance to feed them..
