Whats Happening in Sarigerme

Nothing stays the same , everything is changing, so is Sarigerme Village.

I remember the little Village years and years ago where things were
kept simple and in a most traditional way. Those who have been there recently or will be visiting soon may not think that this village has changed or
far away from develeloping.
But hey, believe it or not, many facilities have opened and are continuing to open such as;
Pharmacy , ATM machines,Post Office, emergency clinic ,patissery , night club ,
bars and restaurants many fashion shops ...list goes on and on ..

Not long ago,few years back, roads of the Village were turning into muddy pools after half'n hour rain, because the were no road other then cattle track ...

Villas poping up like mushrooms and Hotels get erected where once the marshlands were spreading ..
Yes , it is getting year by year livelier, busier and no doubt exceleration of change has began, so the downfall of the nature.

I recall the first time when i took my first step into the Village ,
gosh was perhaps sometime 20 year ago or so, wildlife was in front of your very eye with species which either no longer exist or soon to become extinct.

Today in the area where Hotels such as Holiday Village, Hilton, Marti(to be built) and the Golf Course it used to be once a perfect habitat for many wild life. This is gone.

Plastic bottled drinking water was not widely known or not known at all,
but thanks to the tourism, they not only sold in the markets but laying empty on the road sides too alongside with all kinds of rubbish..keep in mind that this village gets upto 10 thousand of visitors each week in the high season
with other words the 400 locals are a minorty..

What one can do ? Well, to start with it would help if one would show the same concerns about the enviroment as one would do back home...Talk to the locals , remind them if they do not look after the envoriment they will
suffer heavy conciquences.

We are all in same boat , this village, planet is ours, not his or her's ..
Tesco style, every little helps...

Sarigerme will not stay the same, because it has been discovered by the mass developers and the one time lovers. We can not stop the downfall but slow it down for the next coming generations to see .

Sarigerme and Surrounding area in Winter

I dont understand why Sarigerme and its surrounding area is visited generally by tourists only during the summer times.
If only they knew that the surrounding area is actually so pleasant during the winter period. Alright there are heavy rainfalls from time to time but it does'nt last long to put you off.

Due to citrus harvesting such as Oranges and lemons the entire area smells gorgeous. It is hard to believe that all winter the Sun can shine right from the start of the day untill late afternoon.

One can do the exact stuff what one can do during the summer season. Visiting the beach or the beaches more likely, exploring the surrounding area, shopping in markets where one can have really good deals even better deals as it is out of tourism season.

There are maybe not plenty choice of Accommodation but those available accomodations are relativly more less expensive due to winter period.

Package programmes available for the Winter Season for those who are seeking tranquility and relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
