Streets of Sarigerme...
Let me tell you how Sarigerme looks like during March...
Quiet , very quiet indeed.
There is stuff going on but also nothing is going on at the same time..
More or less every shop in the Village is shut except for a few market shops and two restaurants which one of them is Paradise Restaurant (my favorite just before the Mosque) where I hang around during evening times as there is no place to go, not to mention delicious food is served here. You can call this a traditional family run restaurant, excellent service, great food and it is not expensive.

After 8pm the Village turns nearly Pitch Black and weird quietnes surrounds...

It feels like the Village is awaiting for some sort of awakeness.. Not much different during the day time other then few people out and about and of course the Lovely Sunshine. Weather is absolutely gorgeous, one can hardly believe it is still winter. Disturbance has started in the wildlife, birds are more louder then usual, flora is blooming ..It is as if they are celebrating the coming of spring after heavy rainfalls in the last couple of months where the streets of sarigerme village almost flooded.

I have visited Soner , the owner of the Horse and Quad Safari park in Mergenli Village which is 15 minutes drive away , bless him , he was very happy to see me and we had BBQ in my honour !!
It was delicious , chicken wings and lamb ribs ..
He told me that he employed a new member of staff and is looking forward to the season. His horses looked very fat to me. Soner said that they have been doing nothing but eating all winter like the millionairs, they always lose a little weight during Summer.

Whomever I have spoken to have told me that they will start decorating-painting in April, getting ready for the Tourist season which starts beginning of May. This is why most Shops in the Village looks a little tired from the inside as no one has entered these premises after November...
Had a quick look trough the window of Sarigermetours where i used to work once ,one can hardly notice the furniture trough the dust , this applies more or less to every shop.

There are also some interesting developments, those who have visited this village will notice it as soon as they arrive...
To start with the lay out of the left side of the entrance to the village has been knocked down where the Souvenir Stall, Travel Agent, Agora Bar , Laz market was ..all those shops are gone but a new building is now errected and divided into seven shops ..Agora Bar will be right at the corner , Laz market will continue somewhere amongst the new shops ..

The Public Beach is drop-dead gorgeous as usual. No soul around ,lovely breeze, i leave this to your imagination.

A new Cafe-fastfood is opening too, name unknown so far , next to the Pharmacy ( I am sure you all know that the pharmacy relocated from its current premises) , both will be on your right before you enter the Village.

Oh, before I finish i would like to add some info about the Golf Course . Still the same. Nothing much has been done. Spoken to some engineers and they have told me that no way it can be ready for the 2010 season and would be a miracle if they can finish it for the 2012 season ...
