MUGLA MARKET TOUR

During the first part of the trip we head for Mugla, the provincial capital of the region. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. On the way we will travel on the 7km winding road from Sakar Gecidi offering spectacular views over the valley and the breathtaking Gulf of Gokova.
There are places on the road where we can park and take time to admire the scenery. The Gulf often has a hazy glow hanging over it, a feast for the imagination!
Upon arrival at Mugla market our guide will give pointers as to where to find the best bargains and then you are free to roam the market for up to 3 hours.

Feel free to have lunch in one of the many Turkish restaurants lining the market-place.
It’s not just high-quality fakes on offer here at Mugla, but also impressive handicrafts and antiques. In other words, “you name it…they’ve got it!”.
After your shopping spree we head back to Sarigerme via Koycegiz lake. Here we stop briefly for refreshments at one of the cafès beside the lake before returning ‘home’. A moment of tranquility after the excitement of market day!
