Fishing in Sarigerme

If I have to be totally honest with you, then I have to say that I haven't got a clue about fishing.
I have however, spoken to locals in the area and in sarigerme to find out about this sport or activity as you wish to call it.
To my knowledge there is a travel agency sells this particular trip, PANDA TOURS Don't expect to catch a gigant swordfish or anything like it.

If you are thinking of going on fishing whilst you are on holiday i suggest you take your fishing tackle along as you may find it a bit difficult to find the items you are looking for in sarigerme if you are a professional. Also you may find it a bit more expensive then in the UK. Yes ,there are one or two gift shops whom selling fishing tackle alongside ,but the main fishing shops  can be found in Ortaca or Dalaman Towns .. Bate ?  what Bate ? use chicken or bread mate :))

I have taken these picture on the canal next to the camping site on way to the Holiday Village ..
The Person on the picture is a mason who works on the building site .
Locals use the Canal to get an access to the Sea with their little boats..

It seems to me that the locals are indeed very much into fishing. The Canal in Sarigerme seems to provide plenty of fresh water fish from time to time as I have seen many times man standing on the side of the Canal (day and night) and trying to catch the lucky ones. There are so many different specious of fish in the Turkish seas where I will be not able to name them all here but few ;

Sea Bream (Karagoz in Turkish) is one of the most delicious fish in Turkish Seas Red Mullet (Barbunya in Turkish) is another delicious fish one must try..
Sea Bass (Levrek in Turkish) is also known as delicious and fun to catch

About the Carp fishing in the area.. I know it is a common sport or rather an activity in the UK but not in Turkey. Turkish people would find it strange to catch the fish and put it back into the water...
There is a place pretty much up in the Hils , its a lake , on the way there the scenery is fantastic , anyway this place run by an agency which is not located in sarigerme.If anyone is interested give me a shout and I'II see what i can do.

Now since I have done my best to provide as much as information for you,dont you think it would be great if you could send me some Information after you have been in the area so I can share here with other visitors to the area ?
