Your Tour Operaters Excursions are based on visiting Shopping Centres ,which more or less every Trip includes Carpet and/or Jewellery Centre visits so they can charge after your shopping in these places up to %30 commission. Not to mention that you will be paying up to 40% more for your excursions. You will be spending (if not by force) more then an Hour in these carpet-jewellery places rather then being out and doing some sight-seeing. Also you will be not getting half of what the Locals are offering you..
I call it RIP-OFF ..What would you call it ?
Cheap and Dirty Tricks of your Tour Operater Reps :
During the Welcome Cocktail meetings they will tell you all sort of nasty stuff about the local agencys just to book you.
Reps will tell you that Local Agencies do not have relevant insurance and they do not turn up to pick up clients etc.
This is a BIG LIE ..
don't fall in this trap ,find out first how much they charge, read the reviews on holiday watchdog or tripadvisor then pay a visit to the Village,
you will be suprised how much you can save.
There are number of Local Travel Agencies within the Village.

Kaunos Tour is Located in The Village next to the only one Pharmacy, at the entrance of the Village.
If you are coming from Holiday Village and Hilton direction then you can't miss it will appear right front of you just before you enter the Village. If you are coming from the Public Beach ,Alinn Hotel , Caria Hotel direction then simply walk another 50 meters further before entering the Village passing the Taxi stand.
With other words, find the Pharmacy you will find Kaunos Tour.

ANY CONS TO BE AWARE OF ?
Also I would like to urge visitors to the area not to rely on every review they read on some review sites regarding the Local Travel Agencies. It came to my attention that some, or to be more precise one of the Local agency is writing false reviews, one does not need to be an internet guru/specialist to see these false reviews as they are so obvious.
However, I do not solely rely on my own research but also on some eyewitnesses whom have discussed with what they saw and felt obliged with letting me know to display this on this site.

SUITABLE TRIPS FOR CHILDREN
In my oppinion there are few trips where the little ones can enjoy.
Full day DALYAN Trip ( mudbaths - turtle beach etc. etc.) , this trip is ideal for any age. Constant changing scenery keeps everyone occupied , different staff to do such as getting into the mud , seeing the little turtles , birds , stopping at the beach also guides are trying to show you even big turtles (depending on the boat traffic) and some live crabs ...
Boats are shady and specious , plenty breaks in between...
Or you can have this trip as half day without the mudbath with earlier start and head to see the giant Caretta Caretta Turtles , Emre is an expert on this , find Emre in the village...
12 ISLAND Boat trip is a must IF YOUR KID ENJOYS SWIMMING . All day long in crystal clear waters swimming, BBQ , ..big boats, plenty space for kids ...
