DALYAN MUDBATHS /TURTLE BEACH /LAKE/EXCURSION - TOUR

For the first part of the journey you will be driven via the local town
of Ortaca to Dalyan. This takes approximately 30 minutes. In Dalyan we
transfer into river boats and our journey begins!
The panoramic views are unforgettable with many photo opportunities.
The first point of call is Koycagiz Lake from here you can see Donkey Island.

We you move on to the thermal and mudbaths located by the lake.
Sultaniye Thermal Springs takes it’s name from the village of Sultaniye
(again, we are the only agency who will take you here: it is less crowded
because of the higher entrance fee, and more picturesque with the
surrounding mountains).

After your indulgent, youthful experience at the mudbaths spend an
hour eating lunch in a restaurant by the river. The menu includes meatballs,
omlette and chicken and is served with an open salad buffet (with dressing!)
and bread. A Jamie Oliver experience indeed!

The second part of the adventure begins after your meal. Now we head
towards Turtle Beach on the river boat. On the way we will stop briefly
under the Rock Tombs and tell you all about them. It’s not boring at all!
Next stop is a fisherman’s boat. Here you can place an order for freshly
BBQ’d Blue Crab and pay and collect on the way back! But the REAL reason
for stopping here is to increase our chances of seeing huge Loggerhead
Turtles…we’ll explain later!
Then, of course, we arrive at the famous Turtle Beach. We will stay here
for one and a half hours. One side of the beach is fresh water, the other
side salt water. This spectacular beach with stunning views is the perfect
spot for relaxing and swimming. All relevant information will be given by
the guide upon arrival on Turtle Beach.
After this wonderful day we head back to our air-conditioned coaches at
Dalyan. We will take a different route back to your hotel in order to give
you the opportunity to see more of the area.
