It is inhabited by warm hearted, unspoiled hospitable old fashioned village families who always have a smiling face and a helping hand. Their simple way of life allows them to live off their land, producing wheat for their bread and keeping chickens and goats to produce eggs, milk and cheese. At different times of the year they collect wild herbs which they dry and sell, so that sometimes the air brings fragrant wafts of thyme and sage on the breeze.
