Developments in and around Sarigerme

Announced by Marti Group in October of 2006

a land of 82.000 m2, next to a golf course, adequate for 1,000 bedded hotel was leased from the government for 49 years to construct a 1st class holiday village in Mugla/Dalaman-Sarigerme.
Marti Group plans to raise its total capacity to 3,500 beds after the completion of its Sarigerme facilities in 2008.
This is expected to bring additional €10 Million each year as sales revenue.
The charming Sarigerme area has been serving the international markets since mid 1980s with hotels of foreign and local chains.

Tunnel

Tunnel between Dalaman - Fethiye opened officialy on 27th of July .

The Tunel fee is less then a pound (2,5 YTL)

Dalaman to Fethiye 25 minutes
Dalaman to Gocek 5 minutes .
Sarigerme to Gocek 15 minutes
Sarigerme to Fethiye 40 minutes

Airport expansion

The overall feeling is of space, and cool airy surroundings. Although not finished yet as it still is in its basic decoration there is no queuing outside the terminal as the x ray machines have been sited inside the main building.
The desk facilities are a big improvement as well as the information screens and the signs.
The baggage reclaim and the parking for transfer coaches is vastly improved and well lit for those night time arrivals and departures.

• 5 star hotel bringing 1100 beds and 200 apart rooms. Date for finishing is 2008.

• in year 2008 work begins on the Marti and Marina hotel adjacent to this area (approx. 2000 beds)

• Plans been released by the Goverment for three areas in the locality… Golf city , Health resort and Nature Park . These are large projects will change the Dalaman area.

• A Thermal Retirement Centre plus Hotel Spa Resort with capacity for 10,000 guests! This area is well known for healing sulphur springs. Amazing results on psoriasis!

• In year 2008 the new Dalaman Marina project starts

sorry ,it looks like it will take some time for me to finish this page..as there are lots of developments on its way , just started or is going to kick off ...within 5 years time , it will be very difficult for normal class person to purchase a property or to run a business simply because prices are rocketing allready.
